Sophie Elgin Teams Up with Love Set Match to Empower Youth Tennis
[Los Angeles, CA] – June 14,2024 – Sophie Elgin, a champion youth tennis ambassador ranked #17 in California is proud to announce a new partnership with Love Set Match, a non-profit National Tennis and Learning organization dedicated to fostering fitness and education to the underserved..
Through this collaboration, Sophie will be lending her expertise and platform to support Love Set Match’s mission of youth development.

About Sophie
Sophie Elgin’s love for tennis began at an incredibly young age. Introduced to the sport by her mother, a former collegiate and professional player who now coaches Sophie, she was swinging a racket by the age of four, her passion ignited on the court. By nine, Sophie’s talent and dedication led her to compete in junior tournaments.
A member of the Jack Kramer Club, Sophie thrives in the competitive environment, pushing her skills alongside fellow aspiring juniors. However, her talents extend beyond the baseline. An avid writer and performer with a passion for singing, Sophie brings a well-rounded perspective to her game. Her artistic pursuits not only serve as an outlet but also fuel her positivity and focus on the court.
Sophie’s cultural experiences are equally impressive. Fluent in three languages and having travelled to nine countries, she brings a worldly outlook to everything she does. This blend of athleticism, artistic expression, and multicultural experiences shapes Sophie into a well-rounded individual, both on and off the court.
Academically, Sophie excels in middle school while representing her school in the Pacific Basin League Playoffs. Her dedication is further evidenced by her #17 ranking in the state of California. Setting her sights high, Sophie prepares to compete in prestigious national and international tournaments like the Orange Bowl, Les Petits As, and Eddie Herr, solidifying her status as a promising talent to watch for in the years to come.

LoveSetMatch is a 501(c)(3) Charitable Organization. Started in 2010 as a successful private tennis academy, LoveSetMatch transformed into a Nonprofit community-based National Tennis and Learning organization in 2019.
